PS. I love these Dubtronic extended mixes of the originals, since usually always end up longing for an extended version of the original. Like this one;

my favourite remix is shep pettibones remixes of 'into the groove', the one that ended up on 'you can dance' and was in an edit the version on the immaculate collection. he did a main mix and a dub and the latter is fierce

power of goodbye - luke slater's filtered mix
i know for certain that a lot of madonna fans hated this, and the fact this was released is impressive. over a pounding 130bpm beat, luke slater works the vocals that have been lo-fi treated and distorted and down tuned aswell and then does his thing.
there's another version by slater that is on youtube that is his super luper mix which is a loopy workout

and then there is a couple of the usual suspects that been talked about on these forums,
ray of light - sashas remixes,
frozen all of - will orbits version + the stereo mc's mix,

Preach on, Tony. That dub is as tight as a fucking a tiger.

That bix&jonsi remix (awsum!!) reminds me of a conversation I had with this guy the other night, about successfully pulling off different takes on different tracks.

Funnily enough, I didn't like any of these apart from this one, if that is an edited version of the kruder & dorfmeister remix montana mentioned. I've never understood what people hear in the Sasha remix of Ray of Light. I find it absolutely terrible. Even though I kinda like Madonna, I haven't found many remixes I like. Some ones I like:
Frozen (Widescreen Mix)
Love Profusion (The Passengerz Club Mix)
and of course What It Feels Like for a Girl (Above & Beyond Remix)

Some decent ones:
Die Another Day (Ti�sto Remix) (haven't heard it in a while though)
Hollywood (Oakenfold Full Remix) (yeah, yeah I know it's cheesy, but I like it :P)
Nothing Fails (Tracy Young's Underground Mix) (not a fan of the vocals in this though)

I'm also a fan of Morel's Pink Noise remix of Bedtime Story, can't seem to find a clip anywhere.

The Butler & Kendig reworking of Get Into The Groove is cool too, but not too many other people like it

i'm not tooo familiar with their remixes, but the ones i've heard almost all just sound like edits. their lisztomania remix, for instance, which i think is pretty popular, seems so similar to the original (to me at least)

i dig sasha's ray of light remix, thanks for posting that.

Shane 54s remix of Music is very underrated and the best thing he ever put out.



Marco V̈́'s of Like a prayer. Too bad it was never released. The bassline is insane.
