Channel problem on mixer

Running 1210 through channel 1 on mixer (phono) and it sounds crackly as hell.

I swap over and play cdj through channel 1 on mixer (line) and all sounds good.

I should stress that even with nothing plugged in to channel (phono) loud crackling still occurs.

Anyone know what the problem is??

Could be a number of things, but most switch/fader issues can be easily fixed.

What mixer do you have?
