Trance scene

Just wondering where the trance scene is in Montreal, I know the bastion seems to have placed itself at Circus nowadays, but compared to 7-8 years ago, everything's pretty dead. Any thoughts?

Do you organise some meetups at trance parties ?
I'm asking that because I'll move to Montreal in June from Belgium ...
I'm a lot into trance, saw that Montreal seems to have a way better scene than here where we have only maybe 1 good trance lineup a year.
It would be great to meet trance fans there to go out cos I don't know anyone in MTL which looks a great place to party

yeah there is trance in Quebec too.

Check out Seven Ways, Reck and Transition parties.

but all major events are in Montreal mostly.

Thanks a lot Francis, I'll call you as soon as I'll be there (Around end of June thus cannot go to this event ).
I saw Circus is after hours and does not serve alcohol which is so sad, where can we go before to warm up & drink ?
Are there lot of other trance events which are not afterhours ?
I cannot wait to be there !!

yes there is passport and warehouse where some great local djs spin on occasions.

and Citizen produces lots of great artists on club hours, last time we had super8&tab at imperial room just before gareth emery at circus quite a night

I wouldn't come down with such hasty conclusions. You're pretty close to the netherlands and germany to make it way more interesting than montreal.
