Concerning Trance Energy!

All those who would like Trance Energy to be brought back to us, join this community http://www.facebook.com/KeepItTranceEnergy and help us let ID&T know that this is not that easily forgotten! Complaining about the demise of this event in random places, posts and various other forums will not look solid enough! we need a larger community and we should all work together as one voice! As a result of all the negative feedback so far, ID&T's plans for next year �may� be to introduce a few more Trance artists than they gave us this year. However that will still only be an ordinary mixed event with people going for many different reasons.
"Trance Energy�s attendant's travelled there with the same feelings and passions and could share the same happiness which made the party even more enjoyable" it was also admired for being free of commercial sounds!

These tactics could be a way of slowly removing the Trance, which is the heart of the event and to distract us while they are doing so. This is not our goal or our wish for the future of Trance Energy. The only way of getting back the true feeling is if they change the name of the event BACK to Trance Energy! If we want to make this possible we must increase our community and truly show them how much we want it back. A lot of people are saying ASOT will be the new "Trance Energy." They�re saying this in an effort to scare ID&T into bringing it back in order to keep us Trance fans, but it is possible that they want us to forget about them so that they can work on creating new fans! Trance Energy has been with us for a long time now and at this stage it should be about keeping the avid, loyal and loving fans happy in that section of their business (since we/they have gained a strong emotional attachment to it). It may be a niche market but they have the followers who are willing to pay the funds to support Trance Energy�s previous format. They have many different events and they clearly have the power to leave this single... and extremely successful one alone! They also have the power to create a new, additional event dedicated to the new concept they are using. They had no need to change the format and concepts of Trance Energy...... why fix it if it�s not broken?



I'm trying to spread this message to all the trance fans I can find, so I'd be really gratefull if you could help out a bit!

Thank God you've spent the time to bring this to our attention. We'll get right to work on this. We must marshal the troops and fix this trend you've noticed, at once. This is something that has long been at the back of my mind but I was too afraid to start a thread about it. Perhaps there are others, like us, who have suffered in silence, long enough.

I mean, why should I give a fuck about TDI or whatever their name and moves are?

Why do you always have to create a fucking monopoly on something? Leave them...others will rise.

There's a whole world out there in Dance music besides Trance. Try and not think so uni-dimensionally.

I saw a copy of this exact same reply in another thread and I kind of thought it was a joke!
I read somewhere about 2 years ago that Tranceaddict forums was a nice community where you'l get nice responses and opinions!

Well any other trance forum I've ever been on! if anyone said anything at all like this, people would respond by simply giving their simple opinion's and thought's on the subject. But here you've got a load of pricks that just love trouble, and it's evident by a thread I've seen by a guy who had the exact same concern's, he wanted to delete his account because this place is full of assholes.

If you people think I'm wrong about this, why can't you just simply tell me why and give me a good reason why I should forget about it! It would be a lot nicer than (a load of insult's and fuck you's).

And I personally think that all the lies that ID&T gave us, I don't think what I posted here is very wrong, but even if it was there was no need for all that s***.

Nobody told me to cancel my account! why would they? The reason I want to do it, is so that it is written under my name! It's pretty obvious that I'm not going to be posting around here much longer! Not typing the address again is called being inactive (Not terminated!) smart boy! I want it clear to people that I left!

And when he said "You" I think he forgot to put the word "People" after it.

Is this about the fact that Trance Energy had more genres than just "trance" this year?

Pretty much, but the part that's annoying the trance fans is the fact that they instantly reduced the trance part of the event to a small room on the side, they gave us very little and shity lights, no lasers whatsoever, the sound was absolutely terrible! and it was clearly all a deliberate turn-off, so people would just go into the main room where all the extra pleasure's we didn't have had.

OK well thanks for showing that you have an understanding anyway, I know it's annoying but I was a huge fan of TE and I'm just having trouble getting over it, and I'd do anything to see it again.
My feelings may change a lot after ASOT 500 (which may prove to be even better, especially if Armin makes use of this incredible opportunity) which is probably destined to continue as an annual event.
I know trance has changed a lot but it's not all fucked, TBH when I browse Beatport I only find about 15 out of the whole top 100 that are really good, but there still are some good tune's being made.

That's all they were doing at this shity "ENERGY" event anyway, pills, pills and more pills everywhere I looked, some people even asked me do I know where I could get them, and many other people said the same, never before did I get asked that question at TE. People were actually there for the music/show

I can see where the OP is coming from though - 'Trance' Energy was a sacred event in many Trance Addict's eyes.

As for the comment that most here don't like Trance - that's false -- it's just that those of us that do don't feel the need to waste our time (at every opportunity) dismissing other genres simply because it isn't our cup of tea. Some of you rant off like bitter, jaded ravers ...and it's getting rather old, to be honest.
