Richie's Harmony Corner

http://looney4clooney.blogspot.com/

basically, I will just be going over music and breaking it down so people can understand what is going on. I will be making my own examples but if anyone has any tracks they would like me to break down, you can leave suggestions.

I am pretty awesome and there is not one thing pertaining to harmony I can't answer so fire away. In the meantime I will just post weakly things.

Looks like a receding hairline in that first pic.

And constipation.

not taken at home. And its 5 years old . But actually at my house right now , we don't own a single TV. Its kinda a douchy picture which is why I picked it. And I wouldn't say i'm rich at all. Made less than 100 000 this year.

I thought it was $5k per week royalties

little more than that. I was living paycheck to paycheck only about a year ago and a half ago. When from about 20 000 a year to just under 100 000. Actually, when I went to LA to find an internship , I was on the dole in Canada. I was paid unlike most people starting out but it wasn't alot. Almost half of what the head orchestrator was making and I was pretty much doing his job but that was really more for experience. I don't feel comfortable asking parents for money unless it is my last line of defence. They will give me money but the lecture that ensures is really quite painful.

You've got a guy with an advanced music theory/composition degree and years of experience offering his knowledge and all you guys want to talk about are his photos and income?

Agree

After he tone down his, in my opinion, questionable and abusive rhetoric, I kind of like and respect him and that's the way it should be!!!

Cool idea!!!

Cheers,

The Final Fantasy composer is Nobuo Uematsu

His work is great, but I've already analysed a lot of his stuff in the past.

The composer of the Chrono Trigger Soundtrack is Yasunori Mitsuda

Lots of key changes (or borrowed chords depending on interpretation) in his style and I'd be interested in why some stuff works so well in his compositions as it is pretty unusual.

Posted by Looney4Clooney on Mar-10-2011 20:30:

i think I will stick to more simple stuff aka like trance tunes and some zimmer scores which have some easy stuff that is practical for trance. No point putting stuff up nobody will understand or want to use.

Posted by JEO on Mar-10-2011 21:31:

lol dunno hope it's not too simple.
