I just saw this... WOW! Tickets are $100 but it's the grand opening of the club. It's next door to the Mayan and I was told it's a very beautiful venue but very steep price. My GF's been wanting to see him, but for $100, I'll pass. I wonder what format they're gonna keep after the grand opening.

Tickets are now $120!! Clearly they're aiming to fill it with suckers. Can they really fill that 40,000 sq ft place at $120 a pop, with only a few days notice, and Beyond Wonderland, Diggers, and PvD all playing the same night?

Short answer? Yes!!!

Long answer? A few years ago, we would've killed to have so many events in one night. Even more so to actually fill them all. But now, it's completely possible.

other then the fact that Deadmau5 is playing, The Belasco Theater is an awesome venue. It kind of reminds of the Mayan with a little bit more of a modern feel. Hoping for some good lineups to come about

but a couple of old employees and managers from circus, avalon, vanguard work there. it was really cool to see all the old school folks again

how's his mixing these days? i remember when he first started doing the unhooked sets they were a little sloppy, but he's a talented guy, i'm sure he's figured it out better by now.

edit: ouch, just saw the part where he was mixing the original version of 'you need a ladder' into 'sofi needs a ladder' ... that hurt

Love the new venue. There is always something really awesome about a new venue. Maybe its the lack rotting carpet Love the smoking patios (upper and lower levels). All the tables are on the balcony and it appeared that there was plenty of space on the dance floor. It wasn't super packed but they definitely hit the numbers they needed that evening.

Got in around 1AM after returning from Beyond Wonderland. Hung out with some friends. Said hello to a lot of friends. Lots of old employees from different venues that I've worked with in the past so that was REALLY cool.

Didn't dig Deadmau5's set too much. Maybe i was just too tired to get into a groove. Left after 2AM to head over to Digweed where we stayed till about 6AM
