I will be living in england in about two months, i've quit my journalism studies back here in lithuania, and am joining either Bournemouth university (public relations), or the University of East Anglia (media studies).
what would you choose? (ability to find a job while studying is of great importance)
thanks for your input.
also got offers from hull, bristol and brighton, but the two mentioned before are my two primary choices
p.s. no need for the "media related studies is a mickey mouse degree" and such nonsense

I go to Hull Uni, and am from near Bristol, GF from East Anglia (Not a local hospital
)
Hull is good, everything is very cheap (by UK standards), fair few unskilled jobs going as well if you just need something to help with the bills. There is also a relatively large amount of Eastern European supermarkets and shops here.
Bristol: Was the application for University of Bristol or University of West England (UWE) Bristol campus. The former is a very well rated University.
UEA is ok from what I hear. Campus is supposed to be good but I don't know a lot about the surrounding area.
THEY'RE TAKING OUR JERBS!
seriously, why would you want to come here? it's a shithole full of illegals, irish travellers and welsh people. Get accepted into a uni in Spain and at least have nice weather
Out of those two i'd go with Bournemouth, although Bristol is the best out of all 5. I lived there last year and loved it.
I live in the UK. I would not recommend it.
Don't forget the daily mail at http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/index.html
this weeks headlines
"china are going to take over us because we buy cheap computer parts from them which they're going to use to control us as their slaves"
"Black person has bowel movement, deport them"
"Asian girl murdered by cousin, and in sad news, bird sucked into plane engine"

like the bigoted idiots that they are.
Yeah, I know all about the ratings, and the bristol one was UWE, and it's pretty bad compared to others, of course Bristol as a city is pretty great, from what I've heard. But the decision has came down to UEA and Bournemouth, one is pretty well rated/regarded all around and the other one is very well rated among the field I am interested in. Both cities are pretty much good, and have the almost same amount (if i can use that word) of people in them (that gives me indication that job oppurtunaties are pretty much the same, or am I wrong?)
UEA is three years, Bournemouth is four years (with a placement year). And I'm kind of lost in my decision:]]

Hull university is in the city, 5 min bus ride to the center.
Unless media studies is at Scarborough campus, in which case you are right.

A good majority of them do yeah. Both of the other 2 apartments on our floor are filled by polish people & they're lovely neighbours. I'd take a building full of stren's anyday over some of the local raff.

You should go see the "The Kings Speech" if you haven't already. It won't solve any of your problems but it will leave you with this warm and fuzzy feeling about the British Monarchy.
Oh and...
