I need photoshop help

I need help - so CHOP me all you want but I need atleast 1 serious post. I need a "professional" picture to put up on my e-portfolio so I can send to future jobs or schools. I basically need a black background on all of them instead of what's really going on?

Can someone help? PLS

Pretty pretty pretty pretty please.

sorry so big.

and help me decide which one should go on the intro page! If they don't look too stupid

I like the first pic. PM Chris Crossland... he's helped me before with photoshop stuff.

*braces for disturbing chops of MellyMel from the c0r*

imo these don't look professional at all. even if you chop it up

Posted by MeLLyMeL on Mar-23-2011 00:25:

Put as many penis' in my mouth - just want a serious post lol.

I like that one too but since my head is turned back - i might look a bit retarded? Since thats the back of my shoulder u are seeing. I dunno. Looking into this too much. I just need a fuking picture and the last time I got "pretty" was my bday.

I'm not showing my tits.. and I don't have a drink in my hand = professional.

My career isn't anything "business attire" - so it doesn't have to be wall street. I don't own a blazer and I hate button/collar shirts on women.

- I just need a damn picture.

What makes them look unprofessional isn't necessarily the background, that can be edited out. It's the proximity and angle of your face in the pic. Have T.Datt take one from a better distance and I'll take the background out for you

I have to agree with Bas here ^^

Mel, for professional use, you should have the pics taken portrait style, straight on to the camera. No head-tilting or pics from the side, etc

lol. ballin

real talks, whats the portfolio for, like what is it you do? your pictures are more casual and im pretty sure you straight copy pasted from facebook, if your trying to market yourself for prospective clients they dont wanna see you bangin out and chillin lol, they wanna see a working professional chica with a dress casual or something.

your pics are themed terribly. and ppl will take you as a joke

I was killing time waiting for mah tea to cool, so I gave it a shot

I haven't been chopping for a good while, so if there are mistakes, sorry.

Occupational Therapy.

I just figured a shot of my face would be sufficient enough. It's gonna go next to my intro. Basically a summary of how I got into the field and my favorite quote.

I hate str8 forward cuz I have a fat face. I have another one str8 forward but don't like. and only my bday one is on facebook - these are not. These are prior to going out omg is my make up ok *snap snap* photo then post the ones of me actually out haha

@ Vernon + aquila:
Aye, the 2nd pic looks the most "professional". I would prolly have retouched it though. She looks very tired in that pic :P

Sufficient enough ! Thanks so much. I appreciate it, mucho.

Also, building my e-portfolio is a class thing. I highly doubt I will send this to real job prospects. My job is in demand - they aren't gonna look at my e portfolio. lol.

Meh, it was a 5 minute job. I generally prefer not to touch up facial expressions or features anyway.

Posted by MeLLyMeL on Mar-23-2011 00:49:

it's fuking fine. It's not that serious. I was saying outloud that I dress like a teenager - that shit aint gonna look professional and another girl said she dresses like a teenage boy

you do. btw, thats a van dyke. now only if your name was paul. i think you should use it. it says i'm a risk taker, i have a sense of humor, and i'm confident enough to laugh at myself.

Posted by Moongoose on Mar-23-2011 02:36:

A quick and dirty chop but should be ok, since i figure you're going to shrink the pics to put on the site anyway. Havent bothered with the first one since theres just too much of that baloon reflected in your face for me to take it on at 3.30am.

Still, if youre putting the pic on a portfolio site, you might as well suffer trough it and put a shirt on (btw you're completely wrong, shirts are AWESOME on girls!). Every little bit counts when you're going after a job and proper presentation is important, especially if your job is dealing with people.

Posted by bas on Mar-23-2011 02:40:

Yeah these are really great. If part of your job is blowing your employer.

Posted by MeLLyMeL on Mar-23-2011 02:53:

I'm a dress girl.. Not shirt. This is mostly for school, guys. I really do not need to actually send this out. The purpose is to send it out but there is no need when there is demand for my job. I assure you, my friends who have graduated didn't have to send this out.

and I need something quick cuz class is Thursday(uploading photo that day) - I am not about to go and take professional pics somewhere or have my bf take a million and one pics so i can like just one.

pictures can be changed in the future. I graduate in August.
