Time to change the.....

RADIO MARKET. ---- Just for you E*Master
*And with time, Z 103 will change, trust me on that.*

Vandit Records? (and don't look it up on the net)

What do you know about it?
Who, What, Where?

HAHAHAHAHA ^^^^^^ HAHAHAHAHAH

I can give you all the info you want, but thats not the point of this post.

Posted by Ray_Finkle on Aug-09-2002 19:59:

where's starfox when you need him
anyways, it's a record label that is based out of germany right?

i have no idea how trance record companies work though. I mean, there is a vandit release of Alibi - Eternity yet I thought it was armin's track who releases his stuff on his own label armind?

Ray_finkle=confused

a track gets licenced from one label to another and this is what happened in this case!

Posted by Ray_Finkle on Aug-09-2002 20:24:

ah i see. thanks for clearing that up. but why does that happen? why not just keep it on the one record label

Posted by Ziggy on Aug-09-2002 20:26:

Don't change it :)

Toronto radio is full of shit with all the MC's who talk over tracks.
Especialy 103.5. Onfortunly it has to be this way in order for it to
stay alive. This works OK with euro, it does not work with trance.
If I can hear an uninterupted 1 hour set, then I'll be happy. I
don't wanna hear "Come down to the summerrush @ docks, all ages"
over PVD's tracks.

Thank You

Cause Armind/United only sells and distributes in Netherlands, let's say they want to release the record in Germany for example they need to open up another branch of the Armind/United in Germany but there might not be much audience for the particular genere of music in Germany but just that one particular tune is becoming popular, so let's say PVD wants to sign that track to his label or license it in other words and do a remix as well and he is allowed to do that since the track is licenced to his label and he can do fuck all with it now in Germany. Understand?

Well never heard of them. I really hope the radio market changes casue by the end of the year they will ban internet radio. I know it. Too much politics like Is aid b4. Internet radio is your only alternative to "real" radio. but since it is not really portable nor good quality. All we got is this. I hope the market changes soon. Cause I am losing faith in the current radio market in Canada as it stands now. Too much politics. As a matter of fact I will change my Sig to that

Posted by arek on Aug-13-2002 16:27:

PAUL van DYK

BANDIT

BANDIT - BAN = DIT

VAN + DIT = VANDIT

that is how the name came into play..

or it could have been

PAUL van DYK - (Paul + YK) = VAN D
+ BANDIT - BAND = VAN D IT
VAN + D + IT = VANDIT

or he could have felt like changing the B to a V.

I aggree with Chis Dj .....but as for live sets your idea sucks. sure go see them and support the artists but what about sets played when/where u can make it to see the dj........u have to burn Them!!

I thought Pvd has a weekly spot @ Radio fritz cause it was Produced by his brother-in-law?

I will pay for them as soon as all the songs I want on one Cd can be bought. Not just 2 tracks thank you.

Does "no Bs" mean no more top 40, Shit hop and Crap n B? Or what does that mean? Or does that mean some ppl will get ore money? Plz explain. I don't see how this will change the damn radio.
