Is there a possiblity to deactivate the New Piano Roll? Drives me insane.

Are the old pattern blocks still available? Can't install it just yet!

Looks pretty awesome.

Like the save as sheet music option. I just hope it does a good job at it.

Glad autosave is finally here.

Man, the new piano roll is bugging!

Anyone know if the export as score option does velocity too? Like saying weather or not it's Forte or Mezzo Forte n whatnot?

Beta testers have had all of this for a while. The last beta download was actually FL 10.

That said, Patcher is awesome.

The old piano roll is there as far as the keys on the left. Hit the ABC button above the keys. Hope this helps.

As for the pattern blocks, I am not too impressed either. I can't seem to find the pattern blocks view anywhere.

Cheers

You can switch them on from general settings -> show legacy pattern blocks.

Already crashed my pc using Newtone.. Hope it's not a continuous bug.

If you scale the playlist to the lowest level, it turns into a close resemblance of the old pattern view. The control for this is located just beneath the close button "X" of the Playlist window.

Newtone and Pitcher are still... off. Here's to hoping it gets fixed.

Love is in the air

Suit yourselves guys, FL's always been good enough for me

Mm good.

Seriously though, I've never even tried any other daw for longer than 10 minutes, it's the learning curve and price I'm scared of.

Posted by Storyteller on Mar-31-2011 08:27:

No worries, there's nothing wrong with using FL . It is lousy though to have a final release that (by the sounds of it) is very buggy.

Posted by JEO on Mar-31-2011 09:04:

The bug is in a vst, not the host..

And to be more clear, the vsts (NewTone & Pitcher) didn't have an exact price. "Pay what you think they're worth" was the deal. Them being almost free of charge, I can take one bug for now.

DL'ed it, but haven't even had the chance to mess around with stuff.

Every single thread I've ever seen about FL this douchebag has come into just to shit on the sequencer and people who use it.

He never contributes a single thing and always sounds bitter/angry.

Senatorclaydavis is right, get on some fucking anti-ds.
