Question djing loud trance music

i live in a townhouse and i'm having trouble djing loud music. i only have 90 watts logitech 5.1 speakers but the bass is too loud and i don't want to bother my neighbors with my awesome banging trance music... what should i do?

You should kill your neighbors.

You win.

and they win cuz they wont hear your trance music

Move to a neighbourhood that's even noisier than the music you blast.

Buy a gun and shoot it a lot while you DJ. Then they won't hear the music over all the gunshots.

put it all into a van and be a mobile dj.

i assume you have a subwoofer if you have a 5.1 system, i've a 200W one to dj at home and if i set it to the max potency with all the bass going my house looks like a club, i got a warning from the cops, apparently the music was clearly audible from the street, since then i cut 95% of the bass when i'm mixing or listening to music. mids and highs aren't as disturbing so you can play the music quite loud if your house has a decent isolation it won't be disturbing for your neighbours. You won't hear the BOOM BOOM that makes your walls tremble but music sounds fine with that low bass settings.

Invest in some monitors, get the KRK 5" monitors, that will let you DJ at a good volume without disturbing neighbors. Won't have much bass but you don't need it.. unless you really want to just play the doof doof.

I open my bedroom window all the time, blast trance full volume. Ive been living at my house 6 years, and i have had new neighbours 10 times for the house beside me. so, blast it.... who cares if you bother them..

I've got a nice sub rumble coming from my neighbor's apartment right now. This shit is irritating. I'd tell him to turn it down, but this happens all the time is almost always over after 1 or 2 songs so I let him have his fun.
