Visiting Montreal
I am visiting montreal may 13th - may 15th with a few friends, and I thought maybe you can help with places to go.
I am already planning on going to Circus, and it says it opens at 2am, so I guess that's where I will be for after hours fri and sat.
Any suggestions on places to go before hand. It's doesn't have to be edm, because my other friends are not into edm as much as I am. Just other clubs where we can go and have fun. Not to much into bars, but if they are good why not.
Also resturantes, nothing to fancy or high end. just great places to get great food, pretty much what the locals recommend.
Also some places to visist durning the day.
I really appreciate all your help.

Actually I think I am going to be staying in those areas, I think cresent st, or something like that. I like to stay in places where I can just leave my hotel, and be right there where all the nightlife is. I done some research and it says that is the place to go for nightlife, unless I am wrong.

Check out Stereo one of those nights, and Circus the other. They're right across the street from each other. Fridays at Stereo are more straight, Saturdays are more gay, but have a much better vibe. For a normal hours warm up, check out UN in the Old Port (390 Notre Dame West). It's more upscale, with good DJs. My personal favorite is Salon Daome (141 Mont-Royal East, 2nd Floor). It's more funky and down to Earth. I went Saturday night and had a blast.
Thank I will look into these places. Schwartz might be a good option for lunch. Yeah it doesn't have to be halal, I am used to just being careful about not eating any pork products.
Unfortunatly top 40 clubs are going to be mostly what we are going to be hitting up, and it's not a problem for me either, as long as it has a good crowd. I will just get my edm fix at Circus, even if my friends don't make it over there with me.
