Saw this CD at a local HMV and took a listen at the listening station...CD 1 was in the player so my comments are focused on it. (haven't had a chance to listen to the 2nd disc yet).

At first listen it sounds just like another commercial chill-out album, what with tracks like X-press 2's "Lazy" and Telepopmusik "Breathe", but as I progressed through the cd with the more eclectic and newer tunes, each tune was like a breath of fresh air. Sure there were some popular tunes thrown in, like Solar Stone's remix of "Southern Sun" (IMO one of my fav mixes of the tune) and Art of Trance - Madagascar (Michael Woods remix) but there are many brilliant gems scattered throughout the disc, esp. in the 2nd half. In particular, I really loved the stuff like Kartelle "Sisters of the Sun" (Nice vocals), Y-Traxx "Mystery Land (Moonwatcher Remix)"
Steve Gibbs "Uluru", Lange "Frozen Beach", among many more.

Although I haven't heard the 2nd disc yet, I feel that this is a great compilation; the first disc alone is reason enough to buy the set (lots of great new/old tracks in it).

And Track 09 Thrillseekers - Escape <- Totally 0wnz me. AWESOME TUNE!!!!
