Hi there,

Yesterday we discovered that a temporary error in our billing
system prevented some of the recurring monthly payments not to
be processed correctly which means that we haven't billed your
credit card yet for the current billing cycle.

With this message we wanted to inform you that we'll be running
the billing tomorrow, April 6 around 11am CET.

No action is required on your end and the recurring payments
will resume as usual for the upcoming billing cycle.

We're sorry if this error has caused you any inconvenience.
We have made the necessary adjustments in the billing system
to prevent this from happning again in the future.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at
[email protected]

Thank you for using SoundCloud!

Exactly. You don't know what happens when you click on that link. Another red flag is the [email protected]. That + sign is a big red flag, specially since their email is [email protected]. Also, it doesn't say what the problem is. Fake or not, I emailed Soundcloud. I'll let you guys know what they say.

Soundcloud got back to me. They apologized and said they did sent the email. They had some problem where they didn't charge my card when they were supposed to, so they were just letting me know they're gonna charge it today. Still, that email looked suspicious and it even had misspellings. hahaha

People should be aware of phising mails, but they are getting way too paranoid.

If there's no downloads, login pages or personal/creditcard details asked = It's not phising !

that link isn't to the soundcloud domain tho. i have no idea what createsend1.com is, but i wouldnt click it...

they've advanced a lot, i think i got my WoW account scammed, i quit about 2 years ago and i didn't opened this emails because i knew 99% of them are from scam sites but when i accepted that somehow my account got scammed (or i simply can't remember the password because mines are usually of the like of ahgsdfh9876_? and i promised myself never playing again so there was no "paper copy" of the password.

Well on topic, i opened and email that seemed completely reliable , the email seemed real, something like [email protected] and the website was correct, but when you hovered with your mouse you saw that the real hidden link was Worldofwarcraftt.com.

It's justified to be paranoid since nowadays you have to be very very careful about what you open or not, they have achieved a high degree of proficiency in terms of emulating even the real website ips using proxys, dialers and diverse shit.

I'd like to say thank you to the mother ****** who stole my account, i was wasting my life in front of a computer.

Somehow someone got a hold of my bank account before and started charging porn. So, yea, I got reasons to get paranoid. haha

Is there a good alternative to soundcloud nowadays?

Something very well organized, something that is simply better than SC?

I hate soundcloud
