The sound alone is sudden-cardiac death inducing.
i doesn't look fake, but at the same time i can't imagine he would film himself driving for an hour for nothing so imma go with fake.
No scream reaction? And the shattering sound lasts for too long... fake.
Well, I guess you can't say the thread title was misleading, then.
Seems pretty legit. Just a freak accident.

looks pretty real.. as for the silence, maybe they were in shock? not everyone's first reaction is to scream I guess. the one weird thing is what jay mentioned... the fact that they were recording for what looks like absolutely no reason in the first place.
but I'm putting my money on that it's real.

pretty crazy..
something similar happened to me, a bumper broke off some car going southbound and flew in the northbound lane on the hwy and smashed into my car on fender and door while i was going 140km/h at night, it was so unexpected i almost shit my pants, it was so fucking loud too, barely was able to keep control of the vehicle.. thought my whole side of the car was gone, got off the hwy and it was bad but not as bad as i thought. That shit ricocheted behind me into several other vehicles too.
I think its fake, but I must confess I didn't watch it. Call it a hunch.
Look closely at the left side of the picture, you will see that the truck in front ran over the wood which launched it into the windshield.

It says in the link that she was filming the two trucks infront of her being assholes and blocking traffic. I have dozens of videos such as that, including an epic 7 minute overtaking at just under 80kph (speed limit being 130) that ended with one of the trucks trying to ram an undercover cop car off the road and the hilarious result of that epic stupidity

I was driving my girls SUV going up on a ramp and the side window just exploded.. freak accident I tell ya. One explenation given to us why that happened is the change of pressure or some bull crap like that.
Locally, a girl got stabbed by a metal bar due to something similar in the video, she survived.
She was just on the today show...very real!!!
reminds me of lethal weapon 4 when riggs and Murtaugh do a car chase after the bad guys in some 18 wheeler carrying a portable house.
