HappyHappy Trancey DVDs...where they @ and what R good??

I've heard of Trance DVDs with fully mixed sets and background music while awesome trippy visuals are spewed out of the big screen.

Have any of these been released in North America? Canada specifically.
I would like to get one of these... or maybe I could download a divX version?? plz let me know of which I should look for. I like uplifting and hard trance and atmospheric trance too .

I'd recommend just getting a plug-in for winamp and playing mp3's on your computer. The *very best* plug-in I've ever seen is MilkDrop...
It's absolutely amazing! You'd be seriously missing out if you didn't try it out.

Make sure you get v1.03.. it has dozens upon dozens more patterns over 1.02.

there are a few i know about called "transambient" 1 and 2. i bought the first one from a&b sound, and i've seen the second one at hmv. in the first one, the music selection wasn't very good imo, but the visuals are pretty cool. i usually just play my own music selection on my cd player and watch the dvd at the same time. it still works ok check out the site www.moonshine.com and look for the links. there is also a trance energy 2001 dvd that sounds pretty interesting, i'm going to order it off amazon one of these days.

Yeah, but I like having the patterns go along with the beat and the feel of the song being played.. that's not happening if you play a dvd and a cd at the same time.

you might also want to try R2 Extreme

Cool 3d visuals, but they get boring cause, they have to be premade, but trust me, it works incredible!

will MilkDrop work on the latest winamp version 3?

Posted by webbie on Aug-12-2002 06:33:

djchamps: doesnt look that way, cant install it to the winamp3 dir anyway.

Posted by futurevision on Aug-12-2002 12:34:

webbie: ok thanx, doesn't seem like alot of plugins like winamp3 very much tho......

Posted by DJAdamSmith on Aug-12-2002 13:02:

I haven't installed winamp3 simply because the winamp2 plugins don't work on it. MilkDrop is really that good. I'll wait until the author updates MilkDrop.
