High School
What do you remember from high school? Even though it shouldn't matter there are a lot a things I still can vividly remember. Its usually the bad things that are most often memorable.
Beisbol.
Bad things? High school was awesome. All we did was party and have fun. The best thing about being a teenager was meeting new people and making friends from other schools. I remember going to lots of Dazed and Confused type parties with live bands and kegs of beer. Older crowd ftw.

I remember checking out girls in class then carrying my books in front and hoping nobody would notice my hard-on. And having relationships which lasted less than a full school day. ha
I actually had a dream I was in a high school last night... I was the same age I am now, watching some sort of assembly and telling the person next to me that I wished I was in HS again.
Then someone kicked over a motorcycle in the parking lot.
I actually enjoyed high school a lot. I didn't really care about my grades so I just used the time as a social experience, taking BS classes involving computers. I was friends with most every social group, though I hung out with the skaters and the alcoholics and the punks mostly.
There is definitely a lot I regret not doing, like going to more parties, or I guess maybe passing my classes, but whatever, it was good times anyways.
The odd thing though is that I pretty much cut out all my friends from HS after the first year out. The only friends I still talk to from HS are friends that I had from Elementary school.
Oh, one thing I regret sorta was not playing an organized sport. I always wanted to join the football team, and told myself every year I would, but the team sucked so bad the effort seemed rather futile, looking back though it seems like it might have been fun either way (besides the ass-kicking part).

He didn't let me do that the next semester so I took "walking" as a PE credit. That class was awesome, like 4 guys total and the rest were fucking hot chicks.

I did manage to convince my guidance counselor that I should get early dismissal during the first semester of 12th grade though. High school was pretty fun.
I definitely miss some stuff about it. Seeing my friends every day. Having more energy. And in terms of academics and sports I was kind of a "big fish in a little pond," which was a big ego boost.
On the other hand I was totally desperate and incompetent at dating / relationships back then, so that part sucked.
Mixed bag but overall I would say it was a good time.

For the most part I didn't enjoy high school. I lived out in the country, my town was so small I had to take 45 minute bus ride to another town. My parents weren't about to drive me to my friends house so that meant basically staying at home working on the farm or findings ways entertain myself. On the bus there was a group of kids we called the "hill-side gang" who lived at a run down house a women used as a business to collect money for taking in foster kids. They were the meanest thugs you'd want to meet, They were always looking to take out their angst on anyone they could.
Well, that explains a lot.

I'm pretty indifferent to high school. As soon as I graduated, however, life became rather awesome

I remember playing A LOT of video games and reading. Other than that I didn't do much in high school.

oh come on you fukcers. i'm not the only one who didn't have the time of their lives in high school. maybe i should have started off with a more positive memory. at least i didn't turn out to be like JBJ (no offense)
Hmm, mixed feelings. Not the best period, not the worst.
I got on with everyone, and certainly had some riotous times, but during it, I kind of had a sense that the whole hierarchy thing (the uber popular or hard guys, hot girls etc) was temporary and that no matter how real or important it may have seemed at the time, that in a few years none of that shit would matter.
and it didn't. I blagged my way through school enough to get decent grades, but felt more than anything I learnt about life, not academia, and that's maybe why the following years were better and more productive.
I saw one of the (if not the) hottest/popular girls from back then about 8 years later, pushing a pram with two kids in it driving her crazy while smoking a fag, and saw that time had not been kind
