I'd much prefer if you kept going in this direction

I like it a lot more than your lullaby progressive house! Cool sounds. Can't judge mix or anything at the moment but I suppose you're hardly at that stage in production anyway.

cool.
and um, aren't lullabies meant to put people to sleep?

Haha, it's not really an insult to your particular progressive house, I just think most progressive house is boring. There are some prog tracks I adore but it's definitely not my favourite genre of house

Very cool intro - interesting how you automate that lazery thing in the beat.
I can really dig this stuff.

Ok at about 1.50 at the drop it needs to go somewhere - it's too similar to the intro only with a very unlikable squelchy bass. Instead get a big poly evelover dark stab chord to bang off time somewhere every 2 bars or so - will lift this at that point.

Cool

the percs are good, but.... i think it need a more powerfull bassline

something, that bring to live the track !

keep working on it

Thanks man, agreed. And yeah about the title, this is pretty much house. I was trying to make techno but I guess I don't know how. =]

rich: worked on it for a few more hours after this. i am working on exactly what you said.

It didn't bump because I updated a post I accidentally meant to put on someone else's

Nice work, very atmospheric - drop is sounding better - but you can still get mmore impact into it - you will hate me for saying that.

Posted by Evolve140 on Apr-14-2011 19:59:

No I don't hate you haha... I'm just glad I got those ideas out when I did, because after that I was really tired yesterday. That way today I can probably work on building the drop more. Glad you like it, thanks for checking.

I like it. Actually, I like all of them. Solid mixing and cool percussive work with kind of a darkish vibe. I also like the melody work but the percussion in these really shines. Nice work. If the last one is the final version, it sounds quite good.

That teaser melody violates every trance bone in my body. :P

Is that good? Haha. I kind of think the finished product will have those bars/chord doubled, to let it play out a little longer and a bigger build up.
