audiomidi No-Brainer - Nomad Factory Liquid Bundle II - $15

No iLok required for once. I haven't used these and have no need for them, but it looks like a good deal on a mixing plugin bundle (even if the GUIs look like they were made in PowerPoint).

This looks like something someone made in a day using synthedit. I mean, none of these look like something a basic DAW wouldn't have.

Just about any Nomad plugin is quality so 15$ is a steal . Most of them are a bit dated but that doesn't really have to mean anything other than that they don't use that much CPU .

I've jumped on quite a few of the Nomad no-brainers; superb value. I do use them in most mixes, but these ones are very off putting 'cos of the GUI. I know that doesn't affect how something 'sounds' but I really do think it makes a difference. If you can live with it, you won't be disappointed

True but the same type of plugin might do something differently than the stock DAW plugin. If I want a more metallic sounding reverb for example then I would use Nomad's BlueVerb, which focuses on plate-sounding stuff.
