this is true, thee is something wrong with these people man, they need help, and we could also learn more about why they do things like that, which may help us stop others from doing the same thing

At the risk of being flamed for 'taking it up for the child-molesters', which I AM NOT... So let me clearly state that I think whoever commits such things should be severely punished.

but ... another thing that shocked me about the article is the fact that it includes the full names and hometowns of the ppl who have been arrested/charged... ! Is this another 'American thing'? Over here... NO WAY it's common practise for the media to print the suspect's personalia... there are exceptions where it has happened but those are exceptions.

Why do you even bother having a justice-system... If you suspect someone has commited a crime, just print his personal information in the newspaper, and leave 'justice' up to the public! Whatever happened to 'innocent untill proven guilty'? On top of that the US also has the death penalty. Human rights, anyone?

What if someone there was innocent (the cops make mistake).. even if they are, they ll be socially fcked up for the rest of their lifes...

I can't imagine what it would be like to go to jail for such a crime.... all the inmates will know what you did, and even the toughest criminals/murderers etc. look down on child-molesters

Anyway,it shocked me too that they were actually allowed to print the full names of the convicted!Haven't you got some kind of rule against that in the US?

Of course,when I'm talking about therapy,they have to go to closed psychiatric hospitals where they won't be able to exit before they are considered to be cured.And preferably,they should get it AFTER serving their time,in a closed cell so that they won't get killed before they have the chance to turn their life around.Question is,how easy will that be now,when everyone knows their names...It will probably haunt them the rest of their lives.That article has made the future of these people 10x harder simply by publishing their names.
