Novation Bass Station plug-in

I have been looking for a soft synth that was low on pcu, easy to program and sounds good and I think the Novation Bass Station fits the bill for bass and some leads.
I think the Bass Station is a very underrated synth hard and soft that sounds kick ass.
What do y'all think of the Novation Bass Station?

Audio demo I found

Its just a cut down v station dude...

Hardware is a different matter - I understand its an analogue 303 emulation.

No it's not, it's a beast.
I think it makes better bass then V-Station!

I dont see anything overly special about that. May as well just use the standard Wasp cuz its sounds about the same

It sounds very similar to a v-station.. but it does produce better bass

Haven't tried this but on the topic of bass, I hear good things about Papen's Subboombass. Maybe worth a look as well.
