Ford Timelord - I Created a Replica

Dunno who remembers, but I posted several months ago after help with a font and some of you recognised the car I was trying to replicate.

I am from the UK, which makes what I have achieved more imressive, since I had to import an old American Ford Galaxie to do it.

I finished the restore, and then drove the car down to the Sierra Nevada in Spain. A 2000 mile round trip. A life long dream come true.

The image here is just a mobile phone picture taken in reference to this classic KLF single cover:

We drove endlessly around the Spanish desert, we went on a KLF pilgrimage, we shot hours of video and took hundreds of pictures.

I probably spent more than $14000 doing this.

Cor version: I did something stupid.

Why indeed. 'Why?' was the question The KLF made uncountable people ask.

For me, I became obsessed with the image more than 20 years ago, and the car, and the band. I promised myself that one day I would drive a car like that to the Sierra Nevada. And I did.

Here's a walkaround:

Here's a more complete vid of the original:

Must've had some very good drugs :P

But seriously, nice work. Looks like you put in a lot of effort to achieve that, and the outcome looks superb. Well done!
