Yeah, I agree.

Chances are an advanced video isn't going to happen. Most of the videos kind of have the same generic advice:

How to SC
Where to get samples
Low End Mud
How to use your DAW
"Learn your tools."
"Read manual."
"Pick good samples."

I love how he said he used compression to widen a certain sound. Other than that it's a fun watch but it is mostly a starters guide to music production, nothing more.

Personally, I enjoy watching producer vids even if I dont really learn anything new.

Its not like they do anything the rest of us dont do, more that they know when to do it and how much. But yeah, I just enjoy watching people work.

Agreed. I enjoy watching these but they can be rather basic.

D. Ramirez videos were great, so I end up comparing all the new ones to his. He went quite in depth in his tutorials.

I prefer this second session to the first one. better quality and more doing than talking. also i must say i find it very interesting since i like his track "reach out". Showing the world how he made a track shows what kind of a nice guy he is!! top producer too

Look at his mixer window. Nearly every channel has compression on it, or limiters. Man, not my cup of tea. Also he uses different reverbs on a lot of channels. It' not wrong, but I'd rather have most of my tracks play in the same 'room', by applying the same reverb.
