I've bought like 30 tracks max from them in the past year though. Mainly because it's such a horrible site and their selection compared to other places isn't so impressive anymore either. Oh well, I guess I'll see it some day. Anyway, I welcome a change from the horrible Flash interface. Shouldn't be hard to improve on it.

That My Beatport tab on the left is highly annoying. I'd like to get rid of it completely. Other than that it seems much much nicer than the terrible Flash site. Previews don't work on my Chrome at least though. Dunno what's up with that.

It's looking very good, yet oddly familiar. To be honest, I never had an issue with the Flash version, so I guess this version is just more aesthetically pleasing at the moment. Anyway, I'll give this one a good run for the next couple of weeks.

beatport pisses me off. the only thing that gets me there is that they have an exclusivity agreement with one of my favourite labels so I often can't wait an longer than I have to.

My only gripe is that I can't see the total of my cart without going into it. I don't like how cluttered sites have begun to feel thanks to "Web 2.0", but that's just something that is impossible to avoid.

The player seems to be still using Flash although it's doing a good job hiding it. This makes it so that it doesn't work if you've got Flashblock on Firefox or plug-ins as click-to-play on Chrome as there is nothing to click anywhere to enable the Flash. On Chrome it didn't even help for me to click the "Run all plug-ins this time" button, but on Firefox I got it working by adding http://beta.beatport.com/ to the Flashblock whitelist.

Hmm. Nice, you can see the track waveform by clicking it and also the track length without adding it to the player. Very nice. Would be even nicer if they implemented a similar kind of preview function DJ Download/Juno has, for the complete track.
