What's decent to check out this Friday
Hi all,
Couple of girls comming in to visit from Ottawa this Friday, and though they're usually into the top-40 bs, I figured after a few nice drinks, I'll manage to have them swing over to some place where the music won't make me shoot myself.
So, what would be a decent place to check out this Friday for some good EDM? My own tastes are fairly eclectic.
UN

Definitely UN for regular hours in Old Montreal. Delano Smith, gonna be a good night of deep/tech house.
Afterhours you have local talents Tone Depth & Maher Daniel spinning techno and house at Stereo.. and Marcel Woods & John Askew at Circus for some trance.
Salon Daome is always a decent bet. Also if you like trance, myon & shane 54 are at the imperial room tomorrow as well.
UN - Delano Smith....Really looking forward to this evening.

Exactly what I was looking for; thanks very much all!
UN, don't bother with salon daome if you don't want to see hairy armpits.

My bad, I was mixing him up with somebody else
Well then he's been on the forum for long enough to know that you should avoid that kind of comment towards a guy like Malek
Anyways, thanks for the suggestions guys. We checked it out and had a pretty good time. But alas, it was short lived as the girls started moping about.

, Anyone know when the weather will actually turn decent?
I'll take the more organic atmosphere of Daome over the douchiness at UN any day, although I respect the names they've been bringing in.
guys guys guys we're all friends here lets all just relax
malek means poo in greek if you say it with an accent

Great night last night at UN. Ostrich's warm up was great, and Delano Smith's was equally fantastic. Dance floor was BUMPIN last night.. loved the Depeche Mode remix he played.
Good meeting you Matt, TA smoke break was fun hahaha
relax, no one is getting banned.
My comment was not negative, it was descriptive. Some people like the hippy crowd, good for them (and you).
Why hide the facts.
