Help finding a recording program

I have a laptop, no audio in. I have to use a USB. i need a program that i can record(from my mixer) through the USB. any suggestions??

It's not really a matter of programs, but of interface. You'll need to connect a USB audio interface. This will act as any normal soundcard.
Once you have that, you can use any recording program as if you were on a normal pc with a normal soundcard.

There are some USB audio interfaces, the best known being the Creative Extigy. But the price is pretty steep.

As for programs, you could use Soundforge, Samplitude, Wavelab, Cool edit...
I think cool edit is the cheapest, but still a great proggie.

the extigy is actually a decent deal.. you can get them online for about $130 shipped to your door... if your in the states.

cool edit... is very nice.. it's simple, cheap, and LIGHTWEIGHT!

i'd give the extigy a go.. unless you want 1/4" jacks, in which case I believe MAudio (aka midiman) makes a USB interface with 1/4" jacks but it's a bit more than twice the cost of an extigy...
