Markus Schulz new music vid

Felipe - you are famous! I saw you at least twice!

And I am super busy with my last semester of school so I haven't really heard anything new. I am super surprised to see Markus did a song with Melle Mel. That is crazy.

I give Markus props for taking a risk here.. but i'll stick to the non-vocal version

Horrible.

Anyone that was there knows the back story as to why he collaborated with Mele Mel and Scorpio. Markus grew up as a breakdancer and these guys were his idols, so he got together with them and had a blast. Imagine yourself collaborating with your hero and how awesome that would be. He actually spoke for 5 minutes with myself and CarlosSR20 and it was very neat to see someone as huge as Markus humbled. As a matter of fact he even told us, "I know most everyone will hate this remix, but hey whatever I'm having a blast."

I couldn't agree with him more. For a guy who does so much for his fans I think he is entitled to some fun on his own. You don't like the song, don's support it, don't buy it. So many people calling him Tiesto and selling out because of one track he took a risk on for fun. Whatever, Markus still rocks my world and he will keep doing so.

P.S. I didn't really like it either but I'm not getting bent out of shape about it.

OH, and the white kid sitting on the beach with the breakers is Schulzy's son. Just in case anyone was wondering who the awkward white kid was.

I think its a great video. When Markus was here in Tampa a few days before he told us the concept of the video and I thought it was awesome actually. I hadn't realized his break dancing background at the time. He was so excited. I just wish I could have made it down for the shoot argh!

Hell, White Lines is a sick ass jam and partly why I have my TA handle. Love that jam! I think it's crazy that he got to work with him.

I def had fun at video shoot...I'm curious to see if Markus will play this version at a gig

The one thing I'm seeing, you'll be walking down the street and you'll see a group of black dudes walking, not just any old black dudes, we're talking, you know, "thugs." Hahaha well it was fun to be at the shoot. The concept was totally unexpected and new to us all. Markus enjoyed it, and at the end we all enjoyed it. It was interesting to see Buster is still on the business too. And Markus son has grown! Heck I haven't seen him since we did Markus bday down on that homestead park back in 04 or something like that.

Aww his statement is kinds cute and nice for explaining it. But really - who cares if he sold or not?

But I do miss the McProg days.

This just put the final nail in the Markus coffin for me. That was one horrible video.
