Ziptnf - Game Theory [8-bit/chiptune]
These are my favorite type of mixes to make -- ones developed directly from inspiration and spontaneity. I originally had another mix planned for this month but I wasn't happy with what I had so far, so I pumped this one out. I've been really busy, so music has taken a backseat. I had fun making this one, it doesn't take itself too seriously. Get your gameboys out, kids, this one should be interesting.
Trash80 - Sidk Fnck
Adventure - Battle Cat
Crystal Castles - Courtship Dating (Redhat Remix)
Bit-Head - Life's a Game
Psilodump - Eight4
Sabrepulse - As Vivid As Possible (Remix)
Jay-Z - December 4th (CW2K3's Castlevania III Remix)
The J.Arthur Keenes Band - Colour Television
Bit-Head - To Silius
exileFaker - Ockham's Chainsaw
IAYD - Whore VI/New Haircut
Chromix - Heart Container (IAYD Remix)
Artax - Castle of the 8 Blessed Bits

Ziptnf - Game Theory (56:49) 104MB ~256kbps
Enjoy!
Clever were the nails that went coursing down my back. Each mark left was something less to lack, and thoughts were slack slung carelessly across the powerlines. And in sour times the glow of the previous night would become my nightlight into the next unforgiving day. Living through a play, both on words and my subservience.
I don't know what these stains are, but I'll assume they came from my stash spilling over from taking that turn a smidge too quickly. As long as I can make it go up my nose, then this mix will be heard.
All over this. Downloading now.
i was going to make an 8bit mix...but then i got high.
This seems interesting
Have you heard of Anamanaguchi? They're my fav 8-bit band.
They made the soundtrack to Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Videogame.
My fav song^
edit: Jay-Z - December 4th (CW2K3's Castlevania III Remix) fuck this is good
I'm in. Do like me some chiptunes, but usually only in small doses as it tends to irritate me after half an hour or so. Nice to see something a little different being posted though, so kudos for that.

Fuckin wow... looks right up my alley! I've always wanted to do a mix of actual NES songs (or maybe an ambient blend mix of different types of game music) myself...

Hell yeah!
This was amazing, especially that Jay-Z remix. Fantastic mix, dude. Definitely a keeper.

This is a fucking cool mix bro. Lots of fun tunes and none of them really grated on me like a lot of chiptunes do. Wasn't paying too much attention to the technical aspects while I was listening but I'll sure be crankin this again soon. Good job mate.
This was fucking amazing
Loved the tunes, I am joining the hordes praising the Jay-Z song. It was an unique experience, kept mah interest full-time. Played Silent Hill 3 with this on. Fucking win.
Nice work.
Also, amy I recommend my fave 8bit tune:

Unreleased, but I guess you know the ways of the interwebs.
Cheerios!
Thanks you two. Yeah, this mix is really fun to listen to, I can't seem to stop
Some tracks make me feel like I'm some sort of Kirby creature exploring fabulous castles and some tracks make me think I'm playing some sort of Contra-esque game where I have a flamethrower and I'm mowing down everyone or something.
*psst*mixofthemonthplz?
fucking aimbots
Here's another 8-bit track that I don't mind. You probably have heard it it already. I think it's probably the video that goes with it that enjoy most.
it's too advanced for my taste. my taste just isn't that advanced. it's good though.

my mind is too clogged up with older electronica that the futuristic but nostalgic nintendo synthesizers that your mix possesses overwhelms me and my accustomed taste. I can't last 2 seconds in your world.
That's too bad. Sorry about that? I'm just not sure I understand how you can only listen to music that suits your accustomed taste. I listen to every style under the sun.
Bump. Didn't mean to come off as a prick in the last post, that comment just seemed strange to me
I saw this recomended in the "best of may" thread, so ill give it a chance
