Runner 57-WIP (Tyas style)

Something I'm working on that'll go out on teh label in the next couple of months.

Some of it is still a little rough, but you get the general idea I think!

Nice chords, kind of wanted to hear them without the pump for a moment, but it is a nice effect. Could it use a little more sub, too? Not sure. Sounds good tho!

Bollocks!

I wish I had half the ideas and some many of the polished techniques you've shown with previous WIPs, all of which would sustain their own reason for completion.

Personally, while I like this one and, once again, find myself wanting you to finish it, it hasn't grabbed me, yet. I found myself wanting a simple yet elegant melody to pluck through on the break. Still, that's just my idea and I look forward to hearing what you come up with...

And do you mean a simple yet elegant break melody like this one.... I just didn't include it in the version I posted, but it'll make the final cut!

That's pretty and it works.

Here's what I had in mind coming out on the back half of the last measure preceding the beginning of an eight-bar phrase. I'm not even sure if it's in key and it's definitely not in tempo but it's just a mock up of the melody and sound that was coming to mind.

I'd naturally evolve it into an elevated chord interval, but just as a foundation, it's what came to mind.

I like yours and while mine may be simpler, you might have won out on the elegance award.

Looks like we share the same fascination to a TRANCE - check SC for my comment.

It's kind of started now. It took a while to get the legals and distribution sorted properly, and we really wanted to get all the pretty promo in place as well, but the first two tracks are up for promo now.

F'shizzle, the first 4-5 months are set at this stage but we're promo'ing a few months in advance anyway.

what can i say, i'm an avid forum whore. i'm also on the anjuna forums as well though i don't post there nearly as much as i do here. looks like r7 will be taking over for my producing-foruming though.

anyhow, promos to [email protected] if possible! we're hosting Dangerbox's radio show next week so if you want me to playlist anything i can (though i'm doing the mix today so you'll have to drop em asap)
