mmm, didn't think of that but it makes total sense

with his 50% rate of putting on a real show, if that, and based on his last event being pretty good (consensus from what i hear), odds are he's going to bring his pre-mixed cds and tony montana-style double-nostril tooter for this one

of course, if that does happen, i can probably go to his next toronto booking with confidence

I remarked to a friend prior to his last set here that we would get either

a) a set of classics and real energy behind the decks by an aging superstar who knows how to be a pro

or

b) a guy that's there to cash his check and go through the motions.

I'm playing too! I'm not on the flyer (which sucks) but I'll be there to open for Oakenfold.

Also I saw Paul spin at a couple of rooftop pool parties here in NYC a couple weeks ago and I thought he sounded amazing. He's got a whole new set of banging tunes. He's all excited about all the great new music he has - which is always a good sign.

Anyway I hope to see some of you at the show. Never been to Liberty Grand. Always Guvernment before.
