newbie asking for help
Hello ! I am working at a track... it sound's ok in my cheap crappy headphones (this are the best "monitors" I have atm), but I bet that on some decent sound system it doesn't. I really appreciate if somebody can offer me some feedback. Here are 2 samples from the track:
with percussion
A1 by Constantin Adomnicai
and with some synth and no percussion
A2 by Constantin Adomnicai
Sound good on my headphone. Good job. Keep it up.
I think at this point you can trust what you hear, because this sounds fine.
this noobie is better than a lot of long time posters! those 28 seconds were a journey. haha.

It was ok. You need to focus on actually creating grooves though. You have no really defined grooves in either track. Just very rigid up and down sidechaining type stuff. They are both very bouncy and lifeless imo. Make them more energized, swingy, unstable, groovy, etc etc. You're making it too easy to predict what will happen next and they both have an overquantized feel. Just trying to offer some construtive criticism.
overall it has a nice feel and thats what matters!
Thanks a lot for the feedback guys ! I will link the track as soon I finish it xD

Sounds bloody good, who needs a 50k studio eh! Comparative levels are great. I moan about my nasty monitors, but this shows you can achieve a great deal with the right ears, mm.
