I haven't been to Shindig yet, but I can verify that Promise is mint and everyone seems to reckon it's much better. Promise is more trance wheras Shindig is more house.
Anne Savage is at Promise tonight with Matt Hardwick. I've got to watch my funds though

well LAWLER was amazing, hes so good i even bought a lights OUT t shirt to sport with all the birds. It was as expected filthy filthy prog house, there were even people from darlington....dedicated huh? The crowd was great too, really cool and friendly, i didnt see one glowstick and the lights were basically turned right off giving that atmosphere that 100% darkness.....im going for SLAM saturday coming, and my friend wants me to go see Eddi Halliwell on the last friday of the month, How was your night at Promise Ste????
PS: lawler dropped Tact - sweetdreams at the end of his set....everyone went nuts.

So what kind of crowds does Shindig pull? Do they use the lasers/strobes very often then?
To be honest I think Promise uses it's lasers too much. They should keep it dark like it used to be, really dark and filthy

em no the lights were dimmed really low and only the strobe lights with green roatating spot lights...really cool.... I think i will be going to Tribal gathering in november for 99 quid which is amazing cuase it covers ticket, 2 nights 3 days accomadtion in this big mansion with 4000 people.
STe u minger....what happened to that festival/event lowdown, i dont event know where you are you crew go anymore? where are all the UKTA's going (in terms of club nights)?

Dumonde are at Promise the night before the Telewest event, I might do both, funds permitting of course.

Same here, the only thing that could stop me is money. I'm trying to get a shitty job in a warehouse in Gateshead. I'm about to ring them back now, if I can get one then I'll go.
