Hello! Sasha_-_Airdrawndagger_(Unmixed_3x12)-Vinyl-2002

What do u think about it?

01 - wavy gravy [07:56]
02 - immortal [04:53]
03 - mr tiddles [04:48]
04 - bloodlock [10:14]
05 - fundamental [11:11]
06 - boileroom [10:45]
07 - dremples [01:25]
08 - magnetic north [05:43]
09 - golden arm [05:56]

09 tracks (62:51 Min)

What can be said here about the Renaissance legend that hasn't
been said before.

This album shows more class than a vintage BMW, more style than
Calvin Klein underwear parade, and more elegance than all the
members of tronik gathered at a trainspotting fair. It even looks
nice too.

Countless journalists have reached for the thesaurus looking for
new and exciting ways to describe an album that took longer to
arrive than the first Star Wars prequel. Whatever you have read
about this album, BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!

Listen to it, spin it, dance to it, hell even make love to it.
After all its Sasha.

I can't believe "Cloud Cuckoo" is'nt on this record. I was so pissed when I realized it was'nt. It's the best song on the albulm in my opinion. Anyone know why it's not on here? I don't get why Dremples or Mr. Tiddles are on it when Cloud Cuckoo could have been. I know I'm never gonna spin those songs. (They're not bad, just not dancey at all).

Mmmm, why the fuck would u put Dremples onto a vinyl?... it's only 1:25 long!!! Cloud Cuckoo shits on the majority of those tracks!

The only reason i can think that it's not on, is that it's the next track to be released off the album?

And Petrus, vinyl's shit on CD's, there's an ambience to the sound that you just dont get with CD's, and on a good stereo, just blows you away! Sure a CD doesn't lose its quality, but damn.. vinyl's sound good, and if you take good care, will continue to sound good for a long long time

Ciao

Yeh shame Cloud Cuckoo isnt on there, Drempels makes a nice intro, Golden Arm shoudlnt be on, I dont like that at all, as long as Wavy Gravy and Bloodlock are on, thats what I bought it for

Airdrawndagger is such an intelligent album with an outstanding and extraterrestrial atmosphere, maybe like the chicane albums

no kidding. i cant believe its not on there... its my favorite track on the album as well. now i dont think i'll buy the album, maybe just singles - wavy gravy is overrated, bloodlock and golden arm are pretty good tracks though. the other breaks tracks are ok too but mr tiddles and the intro track are worthless. cloud cuckoo is absolutely phenomenal.

the chorus reminds me of way out west - ub devoid (in style)

Great point, the atmosphere of airdrawndagger *is* a lot like Chicane's albums...very low tempo for the most part but with terrific emotional impact.

I can see where people who are only into straight up 4/4 danceable music can't appreciate it much, but I love putting on my headphones and getting lost in the music at the end of the day.

yes airdrawndagger is great to get lost in a perfect soundscape especially on mondays....

you cant really listen to one track only u have to listen to the whole album to get that work

ya this is true, but chicane can get a lil' cheesy at times, and almost too-chilled out. the awesome thing about this album is there ARE so many dance tracks on it, i dont know the names of all the songs but after the (cd version) 1&2 intros, 3,4,5,6,7,8 (9 being chill) 10,11
are all great danceable tracks.

its not like all 100% chill, you can totally get into it.

this album defines INTELLIGENT DANCE MUSIC.
i like it so much better than some of sasha's sets.

I didn't like Airdrawndagger when I first heard it, but Amit made me listen to it more =P.

Its awesome now hehehe.

If you like the ADD tracks allow me to recommend this track:
Darren Emerson - h2o

very similar style. a great piece of music.

this CD absolutly blows my mind. Every track is amazing. my favorites tho have to be the last four on the CD, bloodlock, requiem, golden arm and wavy gravy.
