-- Boom!
Boom!
Wow, really loud crashes of thunder outside my house right now...it's not even really storming...yet. What do you guys think of storms? Scary or fun. I think they're really a combination of both...they're cool cuz of the flashing lightning and such but scary cuz they can not out the power (so you can't use the computer) and potentially destroy your house.
Also, do you turn your computer off during a storm?
Now it's raining like a mofo!
There is a storm moving in now actually..the leaves are doing that turn back thing to keep them safe and its windy out. When I was a kid I used to say "Cheese!!!!" when the lighting came.
And me? Turn off the computer? Ask anybody in the hub, I'm literally there 20 hours at a time.
Yah, I think we are getting that same storm coming up here in Canada sometime soon. Considering it hasn't rained here in weeks we could use a nice long storm. Anyway, to answer your questions...I love storms when I am home watching a movie or listening to some trance. I find a storm very relaxing.
Yea, it hasent rained here in ages either. Storms are fun too..I suppose...it can be relaxing.
Usually they're relaxing but it's annoying when you're trying to sleep when there's a storm in the middle of the night and the loud crashes of thunder keep waking you up.
Ah, started to rain just now.

Apparently there were some really bad storms in my town while I was on holiday a couple of weeks back, and some guy got killed by lightning while standing under a tree about 5 mins from my house...nasty!
storms in Holland are cool, our storms aren't that big. I've been to America and those storms are fucking HUGE!!
makes you kinda scary. We were leaving from the Everglades (Florida) to the Keys because our hotel was there. And we couldn't get back to our hotel because the roads were flooded because of the seawater that blew onto the roads (my english sucks
) so we had to wait in an MacDonalds, and while we were waiting we saw a great lightning-storm, it lit up the whole sky, and that for several hours
that was one awsome night
Down here in Georgia we get big storms pretty often... I love them, I always go outside and watch the lightning and the rain. I dont know why, but its just a lot of fun to watch.
I would like to see a tornado some day, from a distance of course. Unfortunately where I live, you often see them up close and personal, but Ive managed to avoid such a confrentation so far, but only by a matter of a few thousand feet
(and of course, one last year that flew right over my house but never dropped down)

Yeah, I do turn off my computer. Brasilia has a nice weather: from May till November, it doesn't rain at all. From December till April, it rains every day...
Is it this way anywhere else?
