harddrive died...all my music gone..
yep...the IBM drive gone bye bye...and took all my music with it 
dumb me didn't burn it...
lost so much great music...
is there ppl out there that are willing to share with me?? I miss my music...lost a lot of sweet old sets...like PvD - LoveRadio from LoveParade last year for instance 
setting up an FTP now...but I'm not on broadband 24/7...I don't have it at home but my girl do and I'm bringing a laptop with me when I go to her
and soon my buddy will get DSL...then I will be setting up a puter at his place so it will be up day and night leeching movies and music 
so...please...upload great trance for me..if the FTP isn't online just try later...or contact me on ICQ.. #10669061

Very bad mate I know how u feel I had it 2 weeks ago.
Lost some 12 GIG, some 2000 mp3z.
You will be over it in less then a week if u dload on DC

well, a couple of months ago I lost 60gb of stuff, most of it being mp3s(3000+), software, movies, games

Yeah. I agree burn is the best way. But what is better ? Burn your music in mp3 data format or make it a music disk ? 
it happened to me once too =/ but i dont think my loss was as bad as yours...but hey at least you get a new hd?? =/

Stories like these is why I'm currently sending all of my mp3s home for a friend to burn.

Did the hard drive completely die, or did you just have to reformat? If you just had to reformat, make two partitions next time. Put your OS on one, then all your files on the other. That way if your OS goes crazy, you still have your files.

and yea obv livesets can vary from like 1 - 10+ depending on the size.
