nyc nightlife sucks. buzz nations is the place to be
im a converted buzzlifer. no questions asked.
Commander Tom was incredible spinning some incredible trance
Sasha - this was the first time i've heard him spin
by himself, and heh speechless...just speechless.
final encore - sasha vs underworld - cowgirl xpander
omG - should i even comment on it?

Sasha encored with (Sasha vs Underworld) - Cowgirl Xpander at Arc also. Everyone keeps saying that he was so much better at other places but only a few saw him at both NYC & somewhere else. I want to know what he played at these other clubs that made his set so much better. I still think his set at Arc was great and the temp of the club brought everyone down.

pretty much the vibe in DC fucking rules. im talking strangers just talking to you while your sitting down. ALOT OF HOTTIES walking around that have no attitude. easy to approach and very friendly. unlike nyc everyone got attitude lols and what was weird is that me and my friend both agreed that the only people with attitude in that place was us. haha and it was true, no one was lookin around with that shady eye. very very friendly people made it a 100x better experience!

man...i am blown...i missed sasha cause my cousin got sick. btw...THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THEY PLAYED TRANCE THERE IN 3 YEARS. I WAS SHOCKED. that DJ suck cause he didnt play any recent track except prime mover-the weapon. he played some damn anthemns after another. But it was good though...2 hear trance music @ Buzz. its rare as shit.

I MISSED SASHA!!!! but James was amazing. break beats were killer.

that sucks! i was pissed that sasha didn't come on until 4 but zabiela was so good. still didn't compare to sasha, though. i can't tell you how disapointed i was when i had to leave at 5:30.

but like brian said, buzz is the place to be. i'll be back there in september.

btw...hows buzz as a club?

it was my 2nd time @ Buzz and i definitely had a good time.. kinda strange to hear banging trance before Sasha but i guess it had me goin a little, few transitions and mixing was really off by Commander Tom(Isnt this guy a rave dj?)tho... James Zabiela totally ripped it IMO, never heard him before but i can understand why Sasha likes him so much.. deep progressive house, breaks with him randomly scratching!! it was awesome.. and then Sasha gets on about 3:45\4:00 and took it one more step higher.. he didnt really look too into it during his set, but his mixing was flawless and the trackselection was great, he kept building it up and towards the end it was just awesome Sasha-style trance.. overall i had a good time in DC and it was cool cuz besides me and my gf, it was everyone else's first time @ a buzz party. hope to do another one soon. Oh and it was really nice meeting u Melissa, i was looking for u to give u my cd for the drive up but couldnt fund u.. well hope u had a good time!

It was great to meet you and your gf too! You couldn't find me because my friends told me we had to leave. i wanted to scheme my way out of that by there was no way. i am pretty pissed about missing half of sasha's set....

sorry to say this but from 5:30 to 7:20 it was INSANE!!! OMFG Sasha just took it higher and higher and the 3rd\last encore song of the night Xpander vs Cowgirl...........I fucking Died(that was the first time i ever jumped up and down for a song @ a club..lol)

you just made me cry... my life won't be complete until i can see him again on halloween. i am definitely taking nov 1 off from work.

totally agree. i heard good things about commander tom, but his mixing was pretty off on several diff songs. not too impressed, with the mixing and the programming. zabiela, now he was pretty sick. first time hearing him live, and i was going crazy. too bad i had to leave at 4am, but considering i got in free, definitely not a waste of a nite.

also gotta give props to ed rush, in the front room. mad skills. some of the songs he was dropping were crazy.
