It seems there isnt a live post for SummerLove.

Well here is my 2 cents bout this festival:

Last years summerlove was awesome. Me and my buddies waited for that even for entire 3 months. Grinding our teeth on pencils with anticipation. On the day of SL, we got into my 83' Prelude that became a low rider after 4 ppl seated. We were on our way pimping to Chillowack listenin to Kimball Collins tracks. Time to time we'd see hitchhikers on #1 with a sign "SummerLove". Too bad we were already full.

Once we got to the place we got introduced to the 200-300 car line up, all waiting for the gates to open. At around 8 pm, we parked at the corn fields. We were at SL!

The hipe was immense, peple were fantastic, Vibe was pumpin.
5-7k people came. I heard producers anticipated 15k.

But this is not a post about SL 2001,

I read on website SL.com website "largest underground" party... I wonder if it still is THE "LARGEST".
After 10 years, SL is a day festival. I wonder if people will pay ~40+ bucks for tickets. From my past experience, i got my tix sooner: $30 VIPs..

Any idea how many tix were sold? Who is gonna go? What are your emotions about SL 2k2?

I think everyone is a little dissapointed but with a line-up like that I don't mind so much. 40 bux is a reasonable price for an event like this IMO, I paid 37 bux for tiesto and I had a great time. Now I have paid 35 bux to see, well no big trance DJ but Q-bert, DJ Rectangle, Robbie Rivera, and Eric Morillo, who are all big names in there genres in one place. Well I can live with the fact that it is a daytime festival. If you want to go to a huge outdoor party that weekend go check out Civilization Project in Princeton.
