Gatecrasher..... in London? Since when?

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Aug-09-2011 15:11:

There's a 'Crasher in Watford. There was one in Leeds until very recently, but apparently it's been closed down after a series of violent incidents.

I don't think he cares about GATECRASHER...just Rose.

But there isn't one in London.

I say when the Republic / Gatecrasher 1 burnt down, that was the end of Gatecrasher - it's a joke these days.

Much like the police force in London.

does anyone know how things are in Lower Uncton

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Aug-09-2011 15:32:

I'd say the end of Gatecrasher was when they brought out a clothing line and then banned people from entering their own club with any of it on.

Crikey - don't even remember that happening!

I remember getting into Gatecrasher used to feel so exclusive. You could drive for 3 hours to get there, but if the bouncers didn't like the look of you you've be having a 3 hour drive home, with a pocket full of beans.

First time I went in 1999 we got turned away. After borrowing clothes and queuing up in 3 different lines we made it. It was the BEST feeling in the world.

A little known DJ called Tiesto played there that night. Might of even been his first performance there.

Anyway - London is burning.
