What does Mistress Barbara play now?

Hi everyone,

I will be visiting Montreal on labour day weekend in September, and I want to see Mistress Barbara at Piknic. Has anyone seen her recently? Any recent sets? Is she still playing with the band, or will it be dance music?

Unpredictible & mostly Crap....How does she still manage to get that closing time slot Labour day @ Pik Nik every year! She was decent back in 03, 04 Max 05....I preferred her Alias Barbara brown..haven't heard of that since Aria.

None the less, Labour day @ Pik Nik is always a sure bet PACKED with people and lots of parties before and after to choose from.

I remember 2 years ago labour day 2009 she was playing tracks from summer 2008, it was pretty bad. but when I was at piknic in 2010 it was terrible I didn't think someone could suck that much

I heard her play at Aria in like 2003 and she played hard techno, very good. But anytime after it was just minimal garbage all sounded like one long boring track. It won't be uplifting that's for sure.

She played in her "band" here in Pierrefonds for Canada day this year. It may have been the worst thing I have ever heard in my entire life. Her voice was appalling and I shit you not at one point she said over the mic "who wants more" and the entire city of Pierrefonds screamed no!.

Let me make it clear though that Misstress is still a legend in my mind and I just pretend she suffered a concussion when Aria closed and thats why she does this.

To all the haters.....Misstress Barbara absolutely MURDERED Picnic. I finally got to see her after wanting to for years. I guess I got to see her where she does best....good ol Picnik

It pissed rain for over 2 hours and nobody left. Everyone was smiling and givin her.

I've never seen misstress barbara smile so much!
