BPM Festival 2012 Dec. 30th-Jan 8th, 2012 (Playa Del Carmen, Mexico)

http://secure.wantickets.com/Events...L-ADVANCE-SALE/

anyone go to this last year? I'm plannin' on goin for my first time.

A buddy of mine went and said it was 100X better than WMC and even hotter women.

If your not familiar with it, its a 10 day party with events daytime and nighttime, one pass/ticket gets you into everything. Bout 25,000 attended last year.

the lineup last year was PRETTY damn good.

fuckkk... was planning on going but my vacation request was denied at work

Life sucks!!

im goin to check it out this year. stayin from dec31st-8th.

Going this year as well. For now I purchased a one way New Years Eve from LAX to CUN. (nonstop with United Airlines) I'll purchase return flight when I see the lineup.

Still need to look into rooms/housing etc.

Does anyone know how much cover is the parties without the bracelet? From what I understand, the day parties are free.

@Kam - Your title says December 30th when it starts December 31st. (you made my wonder why I got a December 31st flight)

Do not get the bracelet not worth it at all. Day parties are free and a lot of the big parties were not BPM parties.

This week is amazing. I liked it much better than WMC. All inclusive may seem a bit cheesy, but both times I've been happy with that decision.

Make sure you get there for New Years!! Last Years Circo Loco New Years party on the beach was perfection.

exactly what i needed to know. I'm only goin for 6-8 nights, not buying the wristband will save me a couple hundred bucks.

Playa is the best place I have ever been. City is amazing and tons of great clubs. Strongly suggest this event. There are also other non BPM events that happen.

this info is very helpful.

last year there were a few parties right before BPM and concurrent that were not offical BPM events.

I know Morillo was there... Kaskade was supposed to play but missed his flight due to playing so late at Marquee the night before.

Where have you guys stayed in the past?

A house with a cool group of people would be nice...

If anyone goes to bpm to see Morillo or Kaskade just shoot yourself.

BPM is a break from that garbage. Way better artists.

hahahhah agreed.

we got a condo for the week - it was the same price as hotel but nicer/larger/w kitchen. im not one to get a hotel room at a party hotel - i like to retreat to a quiet space when its time for downtime. i aint 21yrs old anymore. lol.

hey i'm an equal opportunity edm music lover... lol

seeing say Droog or Dory or Lee Burridge or Nic Fancuilli and Morillo the same day is fine with me

I would highly suggest renting a condo or house. Usually much cheaper and better living arrangements. I have done both in Playa. I'm renting a condo this year.

Posted by djhaziel on Aug-26-2011 05:11:

I might actually look into this.

Posted by Nerologic on Aug-26-2011 06:08:

Virgin America flys out there.

~500 including fees round around that time. Even cheaper if you book when they are having a sale.

Looks like many of them know about BPM Festival and jack up their prices even more Christmas to First week of january.

yup! Gotta catch em when they have a sale. For now I got one way going....not sure when I'll stay til. Dec 31st - Jan 8th sounds tempting.

5 plus nights anywhere gets to be a lil too much....guess you can't complain about the weather and surrounding.

Virgin is having a sale right now, dont know how cheap they are though...

Jokingly around, I told my wife about it and she was like LET'S GO!!! She also wants to go to Ibiza next year.

Gonna have to wait for the next round of sales...

"Book by 11:59pm PDT on September 1, 2011 and fly with 7-day advance purchase from September 6, 2011 through December 15, 2011."

They definitely charge more over the holidays but it is still way cheaper then a hotel. I have a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo with pool for $1800 for a week. Split this 5 or 6 ways not so bad.

Posted by Kam on Sep-28-2011 09:24:

any hotel recommendations?

at the moment i'm leaning towards Bambu Suites ; looks nice and is super cheap compared to the other hotels listed on the bpm site.

Dubfire has confirmed he's playing BPM 2012 btw.
