The Official 2011 East Coast Hurricane Thread
they are panicking and raiding the stores here.meanwhile there is no chance its going to be that bad here where im at.i want to stab these people in the face.you dont need 300 bottles of water and 18 loafs of bread.
but if i die i want you guys to have my records
Pffft, it's only a little one!
Category 5 or GTFO.
It's a government conspiracy.
This thing has had more tracks than a heroin addict.
The forecast showed Florida getting hit for about a week, before it went on to Georgia, then South Carolina, then North Carolina, then Jersey, then New York, then back to Jersey, then to Pennsylvania, then to whatever the fuck it is now.
I wouldn't be surprised if these suits played this around to boost the economy.
Anyways, I was sad to watch it steer north just east of the Floridian coast without getting ANY impacts of it. It's pretty fucking amazing what nature can do.
My great-grandmother's name was Irene, and she was a total bitch. Good luck!
^^ Not sure if serious.
Forecasting a storm track like this one isn't as easy as you seem to think...

| Originally posted by OrangestO I get the precautionary measures that comes with difficult forecasting, but the media outlets completely used this thing to scare the shit out of people and overhype what it really is. |

So the shopkeepers are in on it too, I suppose? THIS GOES WAY DEEPER THAN I PREVIOUSLY THOUGHT.

I guess I'm horrible at conveying sarcasm on an internet forum. Oh well.
where the hell is our drunken weather-person when you need him!!!
"oh, i'm in the middle-east in a secret location!"
wtf??? the desert is hot during the day and cold at night,
that pretty much describes the weather 99% of the time.
they don't need no damn metor . . . metorololol . . . flippin' weatherman!
get back to pointing at a map on tv and buying leisure suits!

Also, just for everyone's reference:
. that's the official track. anyone who says anything else from what the National Hurricane Center (tropical experts), is misinformed.
Also, this should keep Randall's Island pretty moist for ELectric Zoo next weekend. I don't know if that's a good thing yet or not.
