U2 - New Years Day (Ferry Corsten Remix)
anybody got any info on this?
sample? im just curious
i dunno the exact story, but i remember havin a shit radio rip, it wasn't ou special, but there was about 4 versions, each with varying amount of vocals, eg. full vocal, less vocals, reduced vocals, dub, but as i say, i'm not entirely sure
Is this different from the U2 - New Year's Dub, or is this the same track under yet another different name?
I originally downloaded the track about a year ago for an 80's remix compilation I was putting together, and really liked it a lot...I think the original d/l credited it to Picotto...but I've seen it labelled with practically every DJ's name you could imagine (everyone who spun it once I'd guess...) so god only knows who actually did the mix...

i have a 8:30 summin version of this, it sounds all scratched and chipped on the piano solo part, a bollocks id&t radio rip my guess is
Yeah it never actully got a full release, and to this day, I still count it as a hard peice of vinyl to obtain. Im sure U2 didnt agree on the remix, not quite sure......
every single version i have ever heard of the full vocal mix has always had that irratating out of time snare noise running right the way throughout the breakdown.can anyone explain why this is ?
I HAVE THE VINYL, I HAVE THE VINYL, I HAVE THE VINYL! (Good for me)
