Freejack

Several years ago, there was a mod-group called Explizit, releasing trance tunes in xm/s3m/it formats. In this group there was a guy called Thunderbass, he released a tune called Sunburst among others, this tune then made it commercial. Sunburst can be found on Rave Mission 9 among others. When Thunderbass went commercial he used the name Freejack, my question is, is this the same freejack as is active today?

I uploaded the old sunburst s3m for nostalgia
