Ive been waiting for them to crackdown on mixes...sigh....they get to over the top and people will be leaving there site in droves ....

Same thing happened to me last week when I was trying to put one of my live mixes on.

Best way to get around it, go to sendspace, I had no trouble uploading it there. It's an absolute joke, I thought buying the tracks give you the right to use the tracks, it's not as if it's the full track either because they are all mashed up as well as mixed.

Leave those motherfuckekrs!

F*cking idiots! If Soundcloud gets like Youtube they can go to hell figuratively speaking.

Soundclouds is total useless if they let the major recordlabels havocking freely copyrighting everything that get's in their way.

Warner took down Part 4 of my Cream Classics mixes on soundcloud cos I used a 30 second sample of Amethyst - Krakatoa. Bunch of jobsworths.

This isn't soundcloud you guys it's almost certainly the RIAA throwing a ton of legal threats down on them for facilitating the distribution of copyrighted material.

It's too bad the RIAA are so disconnected from reality and unable to cope with the evolution of technology. It's getting tiresome waiting for these dinosaurs to die out.

It's so sad watching those lunatics cling to a dying paradigm. You no longer serve a purpose here, just fucking die with dignity and stop trying to ruin everything for everyone. You're really going to sue these kids for infinity dollars for downloading music? How much of that money do the artists actually get? Oh that's right none. There's no rationalization for what you do besides preserving your own greedy self-interest. Fucking insane, sociopathic children unable to cope with reality. When will it be acceptable to haul these people off to a mental institution?

never had problems, rarely i use a tune from a big label, incidentally an Armada track, Ultra etc... not EMI, Warner etc... if this starts happening frequently they'll lose half of their customers.

http://official.fm/ is a good alternative

I remember Afrojack canceled his soundcloud account after he couldn't upload his own tunes.

it's a service after all , soundcloud is being used as a professional tool now, specially labels now don't have an email for demos, instead they have a dropbox on soundcloud and the business seems to work pretty well as a lot of people have premium accounts.

Checking this official.fm heard about it but never glanced.

That douche doesn't make his music. Should say after he couldn't upload music someone made for him and he approved.
