Do y'all use it? I had an account back in the day but when everything switched over to Windows Live, I hadn't logged in in so long it was deleted.

Ever since ICQ, I've never really cared for any other instant messenger. I do have an underused Skype account and I lost two or three msn accounts for inactivity.

Apparently, the contacts I added using my gmail address are still there though.

MSN went to shit about 5 years ago when they started bloating it to the point of unuseability. Messpatch helped, but in the end I got sick of the perpetual mandatory updates that required waiting for a new messpatch to come out.

Still use MSN, AIM, and IRC. Though I have started using Skype the last couple of years with the communities I am involved with. Also Gtalk, but thats just cause its always there.

I used MSN until about a year ago, when I had to update it and an ad-window was added to the side of the user-list.

DLed Skype recently, and I'm a big fan. Make free calls to my friends in other countries, call locally from my computer, chat like MSN, chat with groups... It's just a very convenient program for an internet no-lifer like me.

I use Trillian (link). Started using it when they forced shitty MSN Live or whatever it is on us. It's got all your messengers combined.
