Got it. I just didn't know about the tab you had to check to confirm deletion.

i feel like sometimes, no matter what happens, there is no winning with some people. I remember the thread when gareth emery was going to space. People were complaining how no trance comes to miami and that event should be supported just for the sake of drawing more names. Shortly after that, I see tons of trance events coming to miami and people still complain. if they dont complain about what djs come then they complain about the venue.

well yea. many of us cant afford liv on a saturday night. and those that can cant really swing going on a thursday because fuck we work on friday! so i ask you, whats the point about getting excited about a show that we wont be able to attend? am i supposed to bow down to the trance gods because we're oh so lucky to get our wallets raped? get the fuck outta here dude.

oh and that emery show was bullshit. in the loft? what the fuck was the point? if you're gonna do something, do it right!

And I feel that some people like you would be very happy and thank God if Corsten played at Chucky Cheese. Sorry that I do not agree ...

w.e dude. granted maybe ferry at LIV may have been the wrong thread to point it out in but i stand by what i said. if a show is at mansion, people bitch about the sound. at LIV, the price. Set, the door. gryphon, the distance from miami. electric pickle or vagabond, , the heat...cant remember which one has the horrible heat prblem. been a while since ive been to either space main room, then that its not on the terrace. and anything else its justa misc the crowd there sucks. There is always something. I see where a lot of it comes from. It just doesnt need to be said every fucking time.

And do you know what? fuck it. give me ferry at chucky cheese with some my boys and our girls and you better believe I would have an absolutely amazing time. I've enjoyed every single one of those other venues regardless of any issues I have or dont have with the club so I dont see why any other place would be different.

Posted by av1 on Sep-25-2011 23:41:

Lets not argue, we both agree that Cortsen is always fun. I went to his last show at Liv & will probably go again this time, eventhough I thought the vibe & most of the crowd sucked last time. That is my main issue with Liv, and I think anyone would agree the venue a DJ plays at can make a difference in many ways. IMO the only good thing about Liv is the ratio & amount of high-end snatch there, otherwise it is an overlit waste of a huge room ...

Posted by PatMcGroin on Sep-25-2011 23:59:

what i hated more about liv was just the lack of a dancefloor. the walkway to the bars and bathrooms and vip tables is essentially the only place you can hang out. which fucking blows! how are you supposed to dance when people are constantly squeezing by you?

i cant wait to check amnesia out because they seem like they have the right idea regarding a dancefloor. i just hope they bring someone i wanna see.

Posted by djhafownz on Sep-26-2011 19:34:

man, im so glad he's coming to miami again! i thought he played pretty well at liv last time, but i hated the fact he was at liv. would love to see him play at another club, but where? mansion's sound system sounds pretty horrible, and cameo... is cameo. space would be awesome, if the downstairs room looked like the old room with the opening in the ceeling and the blue lights everywhere. best ive seen corsten in miami was when he played at karu&y for wmc09. now THAT was fucking awesome.

Posted by av1 on Sep-26-2011 20:06:

Karu & Y was WMC 2010. He played @ Cameo 2009. I liked his Cameo set a bit more, but both were great. Hearing him drop Hartseer @ WMC 2010 is something I will never forget. His last Liv set was good, but he had to water it down a bit to not lose the clueless VIP-wannabees that were there that night. I just hope this time he says fuck them & plays a deeper less commercial set for his fans ...

Ferry Corsten @ LIV

$40 is the minimum LIV charges for any DJ/ Event, I think. That considered, $40 is worth to see Ferry Corsten. I going.

I'm going to be in town Thanksgiving and Dec 7-12th
Not going to pay LIV $125 for Morrillo or Hardwell, that is insane!!!!!!!!!!!
And Derrik Carter at the W, tables only for $1200. WTF.
Who pays this?
$16 at Mansion doesn't sound bad

a ton of people are willing to pay which is why they can charge those prices. South Florida is filled with a ton of new money and those people are more than willingly to show it off in any way they can. There is also tourists that figure they will pay those prices because they are on vacation. Miami is in desperate need of music driven clubs which are hopefully cheaper but im just not sure how sustainable they can be down there. Supply and Demand. Because so many people are willing to pay those prices on a regular basis, it is only a matter of time until ticket prices get driven up.

It's South Beach. You really think the bottle whores know anything about house and trance music? The majority of those people don't know who these DJs even are, they just know that LIV is the place to be and money is no object.

yeah fuck this

Posted by av1 on Oct-30-2011 00:32:

Tickets for this event are only $40. Not $125 or $1200. So that whole discussion, however enlightening, does not apply here ...

There is a large public lot about 1 block north of the Fountainbleau. On a Thursday it will be easy to park there. On weekends not so much, cause it gets full ...

Posted by av1 on Nov-05-2011 19:39:

Really looking forward to this one, cause Corsten has been bringing the energy lately ...
