no to Sutra or any other Giant-promoted event if memory serves. Though I did see Sasha's for the first time at Metropolis (a nightclub at a shopping center next to UC Irvine) around 1995


he did play the Pure terrace 2 years ago in Vegas... that was interesting. and he's played a couple of other Vegas gigs over the years... solo and with Digweed.

he does play more upscale venues once in a while like Set in Miami...

IMO Avalon is not an upscale venue... i think most people here would agree with me on that.

especially when compared with something like Set or Sutra....

I wanna go out on this night but I'm not sure if I'd rather do the avalon party. I haven't seen cox yet..and that'll go until 4. Still, seeing sasha earlier in the year was such a highlight for me.

I've never been to Sutra before. If I buy a presale, do they have a cut off time to get there? Or is it gonna be a bitch and a half to get in? I have a concert I have to be at and it won't end until around 11pm, so I'm thinking of showing up around 12.

No cut off time for presales to my knowledge, only capacity cut off. The line for a presale at 12 shouldn't be too bad to get in

as I noted 10/27 is the night for that supposed event... but i don't think tix will be sold for it... just guest list and maybe some tables sold...

well he can certainly play all the private parties he wants... this is the 2nd in LA in 3 weeks for him... just saying that for those that might want to go and see him spin and can't... that's what's unfortunate. Though neither this upcoming party as well as the house party he did in Bel Air a few weeks ago are/were open to the public so its not like his fans knew/know about either.

I've been wandering away from the scene for a while, but this is too close to me and too good a talent for me to pass up. I'll be there too.
