Yea got a FB invite, didn't know Marco V was there as well (wish it was ALL FERRY) but super Glad to hear its in KH. FC@GUV was what made me not go last time, knowing it would be sardines.

Ferry combined with Halloween means this is going to be one hell of a Party!!!

i think guv probably has the best costumes out of any halloween event in the city. i <3 halloween @ guv.

and the girls are top notch that night too.

Same here. I am THERE, esp if Ferry and Marco V are playing, haven't seen either in ages.

Well, that settles that planning.

Is this for real? Hmmm, 2005 much? I'm not really impressed. Perhaps I'll step away from the dirty black box this year....

a friend of mine mentioned this to me yesterday and while i think its a great combo booking of those two, and as much as i love trance, the last thing i wanna hear for a halloween party is trance. i want to hear dark scary sinister drums and techno all night that actually fits in with the whole dark spooky aspect of the actual holiday. i guess we'll see who's booked in the guv. personally to me, the luciano/villalobos warehouse party wins out over this hands down so far.

this is definitely one way of seeing it. it's kind of nice to have the option here, between guv and the warehouse party you have more or less both ends of the spectrum to choose from. i expect everyone will be having an excellent night no matter what, except for maybe fail-a-lobos

yes i completely agree with u. seems as though there is something for everyone this night, but i cant pass up a very rare north american appearance from luciano/villalobos + a warehouse..

i know, it's so tempting... i can't pass up ferry in kh after he blew my mind at canada day 09 with the twice in a blue moon show. can't say for sure that i won't drop by the warehouse afterwards, someone text me and let me know how it is haha

this carl cox event on nov 11 is making it slightly easier for me to skip the warehouse though. wonder if the halloween event is also being held at cinespace

LOL at someone thats wants to hear "Scary Beats" over Ferry. John 00 Fleming is playing a 6 Hr set at Pacha that should suffice.

Even funnier is you called Halloween a "Holiday".

Ferry is Ferry. His Trance is in a Genre of its Own. The NRG will be crazy that night. The costumes I'm sure will be outrageous because we know Adults take Dress-Up more seriously than the kids...

Posted by hax-a-million on Sep-29-2011 17:36:

oh the costumes are out of control, no question.

don't hate on someone not choosing ferry though, he's here at least once a year and trust me, probably 50% of this board doesn't even like trance (anymore)

Posted by hax-a-million on Sep-29-2011 17:37:

oh yeah i forgot about joof. damn how am i going to be at all these parties at the same time???

edit: joof is on friday. question is now adjusted to how will i survive the weekend?

Exactly.

He plays the same tracks pretty much every time he comes here in an if anything slightly different order. Half of the shit he will play on Halloween will be the same crap he played last time he came to Toronto.

Boring.

Posted by hax-a-million on Sep-29-2011 17:47:

his last set in the main room (last oct) was pretty disappointing, i have to say. high hopes for this one though

Posted by Dinoz2013 on Sep-29-2011 18:35:

Well I haven't heard Ferry Live in Years so it'll be all fresh to me, for the most part.

Ferry doesnt play those Cheesy Vocals (as often) as other DJs. Plus his own productions, remixes, wether replayed or not, are always wicked.

I didn't go LAst OCT due to Sardines, but it was his Once Upon a Night Tour, and I dont know about you guys but those are quality compilations for the most part.

As the saying goes, to each his/her own...

I would prefer scary beats over Ferry.

I personally consider Halloween a holiday.

I'm laughing out loud on the floor right now.
