We used to throw tons of raves there in the nineties, it's pretty cool space. Many different warehouse type buildings that can be connected in different ways for parties. Of all the parties that were held there, it always felt like a different venue because of that.

Not the same place - you are thinking of the old Cinespace (later Toronto Film Studios). It is closed and boarded up. This is another spot down the road.

warehouses in about a 1km radious..

unlike miller he is pro business and his critics used to critisize him for enjoying himself too much.

We have not had parties on such a large scale outside of a nightclub like this since Miller rode into town on his broom (that quite frankly was lodged up his ass).

I credit this in part to the fact that the executive committee is no longer full of a bunch of no fun lefties. Also Adam Vaughan has been all but relegated to the dog house.

We shall see...

I credit it to recessions. You could almost make a graph where recessions spike and proper warehouse parties follow soon after. Film studio is lacking film bookings to occupy its space so if it's empty why not let some organizers throw a jam?
