Nordlicht remix (Final version)

Hey,

I couldn't fix the link in the other post (post was there too long already), so I deleted it. Thx to all who replied there though

Here's the working link to the nordlicht remix :

Nordlicht - Within Each Of Us [Lightworks Remix]

Take care,
Wim/LW

PS: the link to the gouryella remix was Tenshi [Lightworks Remix]

hmm, couldn't delete the previous post about the nordlicht remix... Wicked Neo or Wicked Red, could you please delete it?

Posted by Trancevision on Aug-23-2002 20:12:

wow, very good work Lightworks !

very uplifting ...they should give you a really fucking phat studio..
so that you could get the sound quality of a ferry corsten...
keep up good work...

Traancevision

Posted by Icone on Aug-24-2002 10:05:

hey thx Trancevision, glad you like it

they say it sounds a bit like the original... but that ought to be a coincidence, since i didn't hear the original before i had finalised the sounds and structure of this remix
i'm working on that studio now... but i'm afraid i don't have the money yet to afford so much hardware, therefore i'm sitcking to software mainly at the moment.

cheers,
Wim/LW

PS: how do i get the admin to delete the older post? otherwise it might seem too much... but i couldn't edit or delete since the post was there too long they said...

Dancing Dude

WOW both tunes are totaly awsome, perfect remix's, especially the tenshi remix, thats buzzing to shite, keep up the awsome remix's, maby you could bring new light to 'gouryella - ligaya', that would be massive!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by Icone on Aug-27-2002 12:22:

hey thx dj ande, glad you like them

i would love to have a go at ligaya, but then i'd first need a midi file or anything else to get a hold of the notes... i'm not a good notes-reader, you know
on the other hand, i think tenshi is miles better than ligaya... don't know about that one too well.

well, thx again for listening
Wim/LW

ive got a question and this might not be really the right thread for it..but l/w reads this and it looks like he KNOWS a lot of making music with a pc heheh..(at least your tunes rock)
how do you get the melody out of a midi file? is there a way to import it into software and let the softsynth play it with its own sound or something? cos that on www.nordlicht-music.com they also supply a midi, but my musical skills are kinda pathetic and it takes ages for me to find out how a melody is being played on a keyboard, if i can..

sorry to interupt in your thread a bit wim

Posted by Icone on Aug-28-2002 13:24:

no probs, john, every question is welcome
and it hs to do with the track, so...

well, the things is you can import pretty much every lead into your program if you have the midi file of that track you're wanting to remix.
in fruityloops it's quite easy : just load up a synth in a channel, right click on the midi file in the browser bar (after you added the directory, or just open it from the directory it's stored), and then select the loop/rhythm you want to import. you can do this pretty much with every lead/rhythm you want, if they are implemented in the midi file.

hope this helps a bit, for any other questions, just pm me
greetz,
Wim/LW

sure luke, my regular emailadress is [email][email protected], but the one stated here is another one... (tranceaddict strangely doesn't allow hotmail adresses).
